It was in your mind, somewhere covered. But you stopped this moment in order to think of it all in a more detailed way. I suppose, it is the main reason of making this photo. But I can mistake.

Now I'm going to do so, and just go with the flow and follow my destiny.
Actually I didn't find its scar when I took this photo, but I thought that means something.

Yes, my dear friend, you understand everything right :) It is important sometimes to go with the flow, as you say. It is something like non-action in Asian philosophy. Not sure if I translated the last concept accurately.
As for the details, we all can perceive things widely, but not all features of this come to our mind as ideas or thoughts. They can stay in your mind's backyard, but let you know about them. As a result, you can spend hours watching a picture or something else, for example.
